Painter/printmaker Suzi Davidoff and sculptural jeweler Rachelle Thiewes have just returned to El Paso from a two month artist fellowship in Finland. To welcome them home, Adair Margo will exhibit some of their new works of art, and invite them to share their Finland experiences with the public. Davidoff will show monoprints and monotypes created at Flatbed Press in Austin, TX. These one-of-a-kind prints reflect the artist’s ongoing exploration of light, structure and pattern in the natural environment.

Thiewes will show bracelets and earrings that explore rhythms, sound and light. Married to guitarist Dan Lambert, Thiewes has a strong interest in the structure, patterns and organic qualities of music. Her stark, minimal jewelry pieces are also influenced by the desert landscape of El Paso.
